Uploading Files to a Assignments Folder

  1. Navigate to the Assignments folder in the course.
    • If the Assignment folder is located in the Content area of the course, select the name of the folder to begin the submission process.
    • If the Assignments folder is not located in the Content area of the course, select Assignments from the top navigation bar. Then, select the name of the folder to begin the submission process.
  2. Select Add a File.
  3. Select My Computer to upload files from the computer.
  4. Select Upload to browse your computer for files, or drag and drop files into the dotted area.
  5. Once the files have processed, select Add at the bottom of the window.
  6. Note: To delete files during this step, select the X to the right of the file name.

  7. Additional information can be added in the Comments box.
  8. Select Submit at the bottom of the page.
  9. A "File Upload Results" page will load. Review the information, then select Done at the bottom of the page.

Accessing Assignment Folder Feedback

Instructors may leave feedback on Assignments folder submissions in a number of ways, so please check with the instructor to see what kinds of feedback to look for in D2L.

Use these instructions to access Assignment folders from the navigation bar.

Assignment Folders Located in Content

  1. If the Assignment folder is located in the Content area of the course, select the name of the folder to access feedback.
  2. A log of activity in that Assignments folder will appear. Scroll to the "Instructor Feedback" area near the bottom of the page.
  3. To download attached feedback files, select the name of the file.
  4. Points grades will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the page, within the "Activity Details" section.

Assignments Folders Not Located in Content

  1. If the Assignments folder is not located in the "Content" area of the course, select Assignments from the top navigation bar.
  2. A list of Assignments folders will open with a summary of activity in the folders.
  3. To view feedback, select View in the "Feedback" column.
  4. Scroll to the "Feedback" area at the bottom of the page for details.
  5. Points grades will be displayed in the "Score" area.
  6. To download attached feedback files, select the name of the file.
